Interfaith Neighbors, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in May 1988 when local faith communities came together to address the growing problem of homelessness in Monmouth County.
Through the years, services have grown to include distinct programs for Monmouth County residents, including: Homeless Prevention through Rental & Mortgage Assistance, Senior Nutrition/Meals on Wheels, Affordable Housing, Kula Urban Farm, Launch Center, the Early Childhood Learning Center, Community Outreach, and Community Food Connection.
The Early Childhood Learning Center in Asbury Park is a subsidized Montessori based learning environment for 3 months – 5 years of age. It not only serves as a day care for our working parents, but Interfaith has designed a wraparound program to provide Parent Power Hours for family support and learning and tools to help our families thrive.

 In 1983, Norma Todd and the founding members of Lunch Break envisioned a compassionate community where members are cared for, nourished in both body and soul. Their mission began with offering immediate assistance while fostering hope for a brighter future.
Since then, Lunch Break has grown beyond its origins as a provider of hot meals and food supplies, building upon its legacy by providing food, clothing, housing solutions, life skills, and fellowship to those in need in Monmouth County and beyond.
